My Answers to Denpa & Chill Diary

As I said before, I won’t write a review for Yunyun Syndrome until I get an ending, any ending.

So what’s this thing I’m talking about? If you read my newsletters or got informed by Alliance Arts, to bear the long wait by lots of delays, character designer Mamimu (who also did the header) has been very generous by drawing a weekly 3-panel manga about Qtie and Yunyun’s shenanigans, whose last one breaks the 4th wall by asking us questions, thus I came here to answer them all.

1. How did you first come across Denpa songs? I’m a stupid newgen lmao. I actually first found out the term in October 2021, but I didn’t look for more thinking I had an idea of how they sounded like, which is why I listened to a lot of these last year, trying to understand how they were like. Surprisingly enough, I recently found out I’ve been listening to Denpa way earlier than I thought!

2. Do you have a favorite snack? Oh my god, I have too many… I like the original Lay’s, nachos with nothing (so I can put grilled cheese and cheddar sauce on ‘em, yum!), Ruffles (original, ham and york-cheese (yes thsese two are real)) and a couple from my country (won’t say)… hehe…

3. How was school for you? …

4. What were your plans for the holidays? I worked, played Pop’n Music 8, finished my website and did a lot of progress in Pale Machine!

5. Was there there anything you didn’t get to last year, or something you want to do this one? I honestly don’t know about the first question, so I’ll just say I’ve completed one (maybe two??) of my five resolutions!!! Yay!!!

6. What kind of year did you hope this one would be? Well, when it started, I was kinda anxious after hearing of the aftermath of an event I assisted that ended horribly, yet I promised myself to be brave. It’s been fine so far, though I’m currently in a hassle…

7. Do you buy things you love outside or online? Both.

8. What does “cute” mean to you? Uhh… whatever’s cute…? Seems pretty philosophical, and I don’t have time for that… aaaaaaaa

9. What browser game were you obsessed with? There were so many I don’t think I can count…

10. Are there any scary stories you know? There’s a fairly known urban legend in my country about a young girl in a white dress hitch-hiking in dangerous roads to warn the driver about a mortal curve.

11. How do you enjoy Denpa songs? Listening and playing them on Yunyun Syndrome, simple as that!

12. What do you think is super cool? Hatsune Miku, CITY and Mismamon.

13. How many Valentine gifts have you gotten before? If we talk about over the course of my life, idk, but I went to a con with Larry this year (NO WE ARE NOT A COUPLE)!

14. What do you do at arcades? This month I went to one for the very first time in my life with another friend! It was in a small isolated room and we played Pop’n Music UniLab, some sort of custom DDR thing (don’t remember the name lol), Beatmania and Wacca!

15. Are you good at chatting with people? Absolutely not, even if I try my hardest every single day of my life… I sometimes wish I wasn’t like that.

16. Do you have a favorite yandere character? Nope lol.

17. What kind of games do you like? If you know me well enough, I don’t have a strict preference for games. If there’s something I find interesting, I’ll definitely give it a shot. I recently realized I mostly like rhythm games (which was why I decided to go to that arcade lmao, also Qtie is so based NO HOMO-).

18. What’s your biggest flex? I wrote the first Aranzi Aronzo fanfic in the entire internet (yes I fact-checked this). Pretty cool, right?

19. Which Denpa & Chill Diary did you enjoy? Well I dunno!

20. Did you tell a lie today? As of writing this, (fortunately) no.
