(NOTE: I originally made this back in October in Unvale, but since I really felt like creating something despite I’m still recovering, I just looked for stuff and decided to repost this to my blog.)
The reason why I made this is because this project will take a while to release, and it would suck to lack some information and I’m busy with other stuff in the meantime. (Yes this was inspired by @Zozomidnightzone (on Unvale) lmao) This will be updated eventually!
I’d LOVE the series to have a little bit of action sequences, something like this or that!
I’m also planning to add some adult jokes in it, cuz, y’know, the Friends saga is aimed to all ages (not really obviously), and they say it can’t be enjoyed by everyone without the details needed for the parts of the audience, so yeah. Kinda like what happens in kids shows like TAWOG (love that one!) or Gravity Falls.
I want the series to be episodic as well (since it’s a slice-of-life series), but having some sort of overall plot or meaning to the story compared to the original series which was just a bunch of random hijacks between the Trio that didn’t last much due to my impatience. It will have a bit more drama and psychology to it, diving deep into some characters, I guess. I’m currently trying to recompose the story though, but it’s left aside for now.
I promised to add new characters, places and lore when I first announced the sequel, so here’s what I’m going to tell:
The Trio live together in the same apartment/, which means they now live in a city! YAY! But It’s not like a really HUGE one, maybe the type which would be pretty small. I think I’ll take inspiration from CITY by Keiichi Arawi (my most fave manga of all time!). The new places I’ll possibly add are: the Twins’ college and house/apartment (it WILL appear), a karaoke, a local restaurant, some place where you can see the sea (I DON’T KNOW WHAT IT’S CALLED I’M SORRY), I’ll eventually add more stuff cuz it’s kinda hard to come up with ‘em.
Yes!!! I promise I will come up with new characters!!! Those’ll be the Twins’ college friends and some workers of some establishments, maybe even the unknown Sato sibling!
The “lore” component will probably be the most important part of the series, in which more facts of the characters (probably especially the Trio) will be revealed. Two examples of this will be Mei’s passion for composing and Osamu’s reasons for some of his traits.
(Idk if this is legal I’m sorry) Tadashi has a habit of looking at the sky sitting in a deck chair. There will be times when he does this with Osamu too.
There will be lots of references to whatever media I want, but dw it’s nothing controversial since I don’t like that.
